Hire laboratory facilities in the UK - mostly RF/microwave, but other electronic test equipment too.

Kirkby Microwave has an extensive range of test equipment. Most is RF or microwave, but we have other instruments too. Our facilities may be hired by companies wishing to perform tasks for which they do not have the equipment. A small selection of the test equipment owned by Kirkby Microwave is

20 GHz microwave network analyzer (HP 8720D), with calibration kits for N, 3.5 mm, F, APC7 and waveguide.
3 GHz network analyzer (HP 8753ES), with calibration kits for N, 3.5 mm, F and APC7.

20 Hz to 1 MHz Precision LCR meter, with a basic accuracy of 0.05% (HP 4284A), with Keysight 16047A and many other accessories needed.

Apart from the very high voltage power supplies listed above, we also have a wide range of other power supplies, from low power devices like the Agilent 6632B to high power (70 V, 30 A, 2100 W) units such as the HP 6674A.

We are well aware that equipment that is hired out is often badly treated, and often when people hire equipment it is in a poor state, despite it will probably have a calibration sticker from some laboratory, which is almost certainly not UKAS accredited. (VNA calibration kits are particularly susceptible to damage. Hence Kirkby Microwave will not hire equipment to be removed from our premises, but we will hire time in our air-conditioned laboratory. We can give guidance on the use of the equipment. Please contact us by phone or email if you want to consider using our laboratory, which is located in Essex. Facilities may be hired on a basis of half a day or longer, so it is a very economical way to have access to a wide range of test equipment.
