The PicoVNA 106 is one of a large number of vector network analyzers that do not have a screen on them, but are designed to be connected to a PC via a USB connector. There are several companies producing VNAs like this, from the low cost VNWA from SDR-kits, to the high-end models from Copper Mountain.
We have two customers who used our SMA kit successfully with a PicoVNA 106, from Picotech The USB stick supplied with the Kirkby Microwave calibration kits files that are readable by the PicoVNA. One file is used for the male components, and one for the females. Both files are always included, as we generate these automatically for every kit. Here are example files - each kit will come with a file specific to that kit.
The hardware of the PicoVNA looks quite good, with a respectable 118 dB dynamic range, but at the time we look at this (around Auguest 2020), we were not impressed with the software - it looks very dated! But we will support customers with the PicoVNA.
